how deep is your love ?

Was opening up some of the boxes ,still stashed away and unopened from all the moving in february ...and came across this book of poems ,thoughts(random as always) which I wrote and presented to Pankaj on our engagement day and valentines day ....(what a coincidence:P)

Reading all that I had written , brought a smile to my face .. still feel the same for him , probably more ,now that our lives are inextricably linked to each other ..we have gone through bad times which bonded us and good times which brought us joy ...we have tonnes of memories with each other now and I sometimes wonder how we wud continue without each other ..it just doesnt seem possible.

No melodrama there !!! just the truth :) ..I feel I wouldnt be able to .

But then let me focus on the good thoughts ....how often is it that one finds a friend ,soulmate ,a lover and a lifepartner all rolled into one :) ,someone who lets you be and loves you for who you are ..well, I'd say not often ..infact ,once in a lifetime.

Getting mushy but what else can I be......Its so easy to fall in love and dream of a happy ending ..mostly meaning marriage and a life together ..but what happens when one gets that ?I'd imagine, hone the relationship and help that love stay ,what with the daily routine ,stress and squabbles ....do I still have that after 3 yrs ..yes I know I do because I dont think we take it for granted for a day in our lives..we work on it ..is it perfect ..hmm ..no but pretty darn close.

So I come back to the "book" ..made the following upgrades ,after 3 yrs :)

"Commitment is healthiest when its not without doubt but inspite of doubt but inspite of doubt "

- Just another day in the life of this "lovelorn" woman.Amen to more of that
