Better late than Never -Part II
Lifes busy and thats good. Busy also means stretching one's self thin and scrambling between deadlines -both professional and personal .But its ok, thats life. and life is nothing if not a celebration.
I thought it would be better to post these pictures before it became too late. They are from this Diwali ...It was a recreation the festival of lights .
Everyone raved about the party on the the quantity and quality of food and were really surprised to know that we had cooked it all (lamb do piyaza, rajma, pulao, poori, stuffed gobhi, dahi bhalla, saag paneer, moong daal halwa, an assortment of mithai and rasmalai) .Most of the food was cooked by my sister and she did an awesome job .
The organising , planning ,coordinating and finally hosting the party for twenty people took the wind out of our sails and physically tired us out (because we did it all in one day ) but it was totally worth it and soooo much FUN!!!
Its a pity that my digital camera was not charged to take pictures .............
But Here are a few glimpses from the oh so fun party we threw :-)

The appetisers(Its a pity I dont have a picture of the main course)

Am I singing "Jana gana Mana " ....??

The prancy little lady with the diwali lights in the backdrop
